"Day one: fever and memory loss.
Day two: hallucinations and greying skin.
Day three: hair loss and blood leaking from all orifices.
Day four: excruciating pain as the skeleton and organs reform and reposition.
Day five: the host's personality has disappeared. Fingers, toes, and limbs elongate.
Day six: the flesh around the mouth splits to make way for tentacles.
Day seven: a mind flayer is born."
Baldur's Gate 3 is the most engaged I've ever felt playing a game in such a long time. There's so much to do and explore and interact with. Every single character is so well written and there is something to love in all of them.
Each character has such deep and rich backstories and by the end you can't help but love them all, even if you hated them in the beginning (I personally didn't like La'zel or Gale, but I love them to bits now after seeing their whole stories). You want to see them all survive and move past both their current predicament and the pasts that still haunt them.
I also really love the character customization and character build possibilites, I'm so fun to play around with all the different builds you can make
My favorite characters are Astarion and Karlach, but I love all the companions so much!
Now that I'm a little older, I can better appreciate RPGs. I now love stepping into RPG games like this where the player character is so customizable. I really enjoy the roleplaying aspect and I got really into it in this game. I made up a whole backstory for my character, and though, it's probably not a very original backstory, I still love it nonetheless. (Maybe I'll make a page for my character in my writing area sometime)
This is a test page so the text will be updated and the images will be made more fitting once I know how I want these pages to look~
